"We played very strong,
but we just couldn't score",
said coach Jim Workman,
after his team's scoreless
draw against Parkhill,
Wednesday.
South Huron denied
Parkhill any shots on goal,
but at the same time didn't
take advantage of scoring
situations at the other end of
the field. Workman is none-
theless pleased with his
team's play, especially on
offence.
"Halfback Catherine
"Pitts" Patterson and
forwaros Brenda Brand and
Cheryl Cann are starting to
click on offence," Workman
commented.
The team plays its first
regular season tournament
today at Stratford Central. If
South Huron finishes first in
the regular season, they will
host the second place team
in a one -game final, October
