Both winter damage to apple buds and severe frost at apple blossom time contributed to a slightly reduced apple production. The size of this year's crop is expected to be about 20 per- cent smaller than last year's bumper crop. In Ontario. the native McIntosh is the variety grown in most plentiful supply McIntosh apples comprise more than 40 per- cent of the province's apple crop. Other important varieties include Red Delicious and Northern Spy, which together account for more than 35 percent of On- tario's apple crop 20°lo all fall merchandise starting Thursday, Oct. 1 dri!""w- fashion boutique Open 7 Days A Wept. 1' , Miles South Of Grand Bend On Hwy 21 During the business meeting, Mrs. Emily r 4 • i FORTHCOMING MARRIAGE – Mr. and Mrs. Glen Weido, Zurich, Ont. are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter Catherine Elaine to Richard Kenneth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Heimple of Kitchener, Ont.
