Eighty one ladies attended
the United Church Women's
Banquet last Monday
evening. The tables were
decorated with purple and

yellow feather which looked
very nice.
A beautiful cake and a
replica of the church which
was made and decorated by
Mrs. John Pym adorned the
table.
A delicious smorgasbord
meal was partaken of. After
the meal, president Mrs.
Murray Dawson welcomed
everyone, former members
as well as our own ladies.
Mrs. Glen Stewart in-
troduced the head table.
Mrs. Ross Hodgert
thanked the ladies of the
Hurondale Women's
institute who looked after
the meal and did the dishes.
Mrs. Rick Parker led in a
sing song of old songs ac-
companied by Mrs. Reg
Hodgert on the piano.
