They and Mr. and Mrs. Ken Duncan and Floyd and Mr. and Mrs. Don Richard- son were guests at the Miller-Siemon wedding at Brodhagen and the reception at Mitchell Community Cen- tre. Saturday. Monday evening Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Duncan and Douglas. Ottawa. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Peck and David of Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Barry Oliver. David, Ryan and Julie. New Hamburg were supper guests with Mr. and Mrs Jack Duncan. Miss Cristy Hamm. Toron- to is visiting with her grand- parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sharp. About 70 people from this community attended the church service, presen- tation for Pastor Ross and Mrs. Hargreaves and pot luck dinner at Elimville church Sunday morning. Mr. and Mrs. John Pym and family were guests at the wedding of their niece Shirley Wanner in Sarnia recently. Mr. and Mrs. Barry E. Miller and Rebecca holidayed last week at Sau- ble beach Midland and other points north. Peace is not made at the council tables. or by treaties. but in the hearts of men. HAROLD DAVIS KIRKTON The 46th annual Stacey family reunion was held July 4 at Crystal Palace Mitchell with 105 in attendance. Dinner was served under the supervision of the table committee. The annual business meeting was called to order by vice-president Esther Rowe, London in the absence of the president. Greetings were extended to those attending from North Branch, Farmington Hills, Carson City Michigan; Toronto St -Catharines, Burlington, Islington, Detroit, Port Clinton Ohio, Windsor, London,Cambridge Paris, Fullerton, Goderich, St. Marys, Kirkton Woodham, Hamilton, Mit- chell and Stratford. A moment of silence was observed in honour of those who had passed away in the last year. The reunion will be held at the same place next year on July 3. Personals Mr. and Mrs. Harold Davis visited Satrday with Mr. and Mrs. Al Weiberg and family at Blenheim. Brent Marshall has returned home after being a patient in University Hospital having suffered a broken ankle. Mrs. Pearl Budden returned home a week ago from St. Joseph's Hospital London following surgery. Mr. and Mrs. John Bar - flea of London were Sunday evening dinner guests July 12 with Mr. and Mrs. Rea Stephen. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Paul accompanied by Dr. and Mrs. Fraser Campbell, England have returned home from a vacatibn through the western provinces. Ethel Copeland spent a few days last week with Jackie Webster at St. Thomas.
