Ottawa family visits
in Thames Road area

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Dun-
can and Douglas, Ottawa
spent a few days recently
with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dun-
can. They and Mr. and Mrs.
Ken Duncan and Floyd and
Mr. and Mrs. Don Richard-
son were guests at the
Miller-Siemon wedding at
Brodhagen and the reception
at Mitchell Community Cen-
tre. Saturday.
Monday evening Mr. and
Mrs. Dennis Duncan and
Douglas. Ottawa. Mr. and
Mrs. Dean Peck and David
of Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Barry
Oliver. David, Ryan and
Julie. New Hamburg were
supper guests with Mr. and
Mrs Jack Duncan.
Miss Cristy Hamm. Toron-
to is visiting with her grand-
parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Sharp.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Duncan
were guests at the Cooper -
Morrison wedding at
Kirkton United Church and
also the reception and dance
Saturday.
Mrs. Mary Thomson. Ex-
eter. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn
Jeffery Alan and Connie,
Miss Janice Sharp, Mr. and
Mrs William Rohde attend-
ed the Hanna picnic at
Anderson Hall. Sunday.
About 70 people from this
community attended the
church service, presen-
tation for Pastor Ross and
Mrs. Hargreaves and pot
luck dinner at Elimville
church Sunday morning.
Mr. and Mrs. John Pym
and family were guests at
the wedding of their niece
Shirley Wanner in Sarnia
recently.
Mr. and Mrs. Barry E.
Miller and Rebecca
holidayed last week at Sau-
ble beach Midland and other
points north.

Paula back from west
Kirkton residents return from stays in hospital

KIRKTON
The 46th annual Stacey
family reunion was held July
4 at Crystal Palace Mitchell
with 105 in attendance.
Dinner was served under the
supervision of the table
committee.
The annual business
meeting was called to order
by vice-president Esther
Rowe, London in the absence
of the president.
Greetings were extended
to those attending from
North Branch, Farmington
Hills, Carson City Michigan;
Toronto St -Catharines,
Burlington, Islington,
Detroit, Port Clinton Ohio,
Windsor, London,Cambridge
Paris, Fullerton, Goderich,
St. Marys, Kirkton
Woodham, Hamilton, Mit-
chell and Stratford.
A moment of silence was
observed in honour of those
who had passed away in the
last year.
The reunion will be held at
the same place next year on
July 3.

to dinner Sunday following
the marriage of Mr. and
,Mrs. Jamie Caldwell.

Mrs. Jamie Kyle Caldwell
who were married Saturday
in Egmondville Church.
Mrs. Vivan Cooper is
visiting Mr. and Mrs. Gary
Cooper and family in
Detroit. Gary met with an
accident while working and
is hospitalized.
Mrs. Steve Pine and
children are holidaying with
Mrs. Grace McBride.
Steve Pine attended the
funeral of Stewart Baird last
week.

Wroxeter visited relatives in
the area.

London following surgery.

evening dinner guests July
12 with Mr. and Mrs. Rea
Stephen.
