Session 2 of swim lessons
at Stephen Township pool
begins on Monday so anyone
wishing to register a
youngster should do so at the
pool. Registration can be
done over the phone by call-
ing the pool at 228-0331 and
fees can be paid on the first
day of lessons.
The following schedule has
been set up for session 2 of
lessons:
Moms and tots and tiny
tots -11:30 -12:00, Tadpoles -
10:30 - 11:00, Frogs 10:00 -
10:30, Beginners - 9:30 -
10:00, Dolphlps and Juniors -
11:00 - 11:30, Intermediates -
10: 30 - 11:00, Seniors - 11:30 -
12:00.

by a score of 44. It was the
poorest played game for the

McFalls was badly missed

The Kirkton - Woodham
pool staff is ready to provide
everyone with swimming
programs this summer. The
new Red Cross program, and
eight level colour system, is
being implemented in both
children and adult lessons.
For those who wish to
specialize their swimming
skills. synchronized swim-
ming. diving. bronze and
leaders are being offered.
The K -W pool swim team
is in their second year with
the Lake Huron Zone
Recreation Association.
ladies fitness, fitness swim
and 20 kilometer club are be-
ing offered for those who
wish to get or stay in shape
this summer.
The eight people on staff
all have their Red Cross and
Royal Life Instructors and
have a variety of skills
which enables them to teach
the special programs being
offered.
The staff includes Joanne
Poel, supervisor, Nancy
McCurdy. assistant super-
visor. Ann Robinson, head
guard. Dave Bell, Donna
Bickell. Paul Robinson, in-
structor guards, Betty John-
son and Anne Paynter,
cashier and maintenance.
Special events this
summer include a water
show and a birthday party to
commemorate the pool's
fifth year to operation.

at Huron Park
Four teams kicked off the
summer recreational hockey
league action at Huron Park,
Sunday. It is expected the
league will expand to six
teams next weekend and the
Sunday morning games will
continue throughout the
summer.
In the opener, Bogarts
bombed Pfaff Electric by a
14-2 count. Exeter Hawks
defenceman Bill Glover pac-
ed the attack with five goals

at the Exeter golf and coun-
