held Sunday July 12.
Kippen East W.I. held a
.bake sale at Pine Lake,
Saturday.
Mrs. Al Hoggarth, Mrs.
Robert Bell and Mrs. Grace
Drummond and were in
charge.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Graham, Port Alberni B.C.
visited with Mr. and . Mrs.
Harold Jones last week.
Mr. Don Shepherd a
4-H Exchange Student
from Deer Lake,
Newfoundland spent a week
with Lyle and Bill Kinsman.
Mr. and Mrs. Dwight
Kinsman have returned
from their honeymoon.
Pioneer
hostesses at a miscellaneous
shower at the latter's home,
Sunday July 5, for their
niece, Lori Keller, bride -
elect of September.
Relatives and friends of both
the bride and groom were
present. She received many
lovely gifts and graciously
thanked everyone. The men
held a get together at the
home of Earl Keller.

Visitors on Saturday with
their cousins, the Curts'
were Milton Emery, St.
Thomas, Charles Jutty,
Toronto, and Roy :Coats,
Tacoma, Washington.
Mrs. Irene Nugent, Finch,
and Mrs. Verna Riddell,
Winchester, Ontario were
recent visitors with
Selbourne and Martha
English.
The sympathy of the
Community goes to the
family of the late John
Schoffield.
Mrs. Ed Bailey travelled
by plane to Victoria, B.C. to
visit two of her daughters
She plans on staying for a
month.
A miscellaneous shower
was held for Mary Jane
McLinchey at the Anglican
Church Hall on Thursday
evening of this week. Mary
Jane is being married next
month.
