Don't forget the Slo-pitch ball game Sunday, July 12 at 7 p.m. between the Dashwood Gamblers and the CFPL team. Proceeds will go to the Medical Centre. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Bills. their daughter Sue and two children of Cass City, Mich. spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rader and other relatives. Mrs. Diane Deibold, Jeanette and John Paul, Zurich. andd Mrs. Lorne Becker took Wayne Becker and Scott Hasselbach of Ex- eter to Camp Pioneer, Angola, New York, on the weekend where they will spend the week. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Nutt, Paul and Rachel spent four days at Sauble River near Southampton last weekend where they fished for pike and bass and relaxed in the sun. Recent visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Struyke have been John and Rosaleen Noerenhout, Sabina and Ivo, Manitoba. who left to return to Holland and Joe and Greta Vandeberg, Brnsum, Holland, who will stay until September. Greta is a sister of Mr. Struyke. Mrs. Esther Salmon has returned home from Univer- sity hospital where she has been a patient since April due to a stroke. Visitors last week with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Guenther were Earl's sisters Mrs. Fred Cords. St. Catharines; Mrs. Lloyd Edighoffer, Mitchell: and Mrs. Clayton Ankenman. Waterloo. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Rader were Saturday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Wellwood Gill, Craigweil Gardens, Ailsa Craig. Rick Hayter, New York, spent the weekend with his parents. During the offering the senior choir sang Count Your Blessings. The offering was received by Betty Anne Miller, Margaret Laing, Barbara Templeman, Nancy Scott and Chris Elliott. Music for the service was in charge of the organist, Mrs. John Scott and the ushers were Paul Miller, Murray Laing and Chris Elliott. The Douglas Clan gathered at the home of Charlie and Lillian Douglas with relatives present from as far as Ottawa and Sarnia. Saturday afternoon some of the guests made a trip to see the Douglas homestead, south of Listowel.
