Communion
at Centralia
By MRS. FRED BOWDEN
The Sacrament of Holy
Communion was observed
during the service in the
United Church on Sunday
morning.
Speaking on the subject,
"For Sinners", Rev. Crowe
used Jesus call to Mathew as
a Biblical reference. In
Matthew he saw something
noble though hidden. God's
love reaches out to everyone
and we are loved in spite of
our sins.
The children had a part in
the service by distributing
the leaflets "A Prayer of
Confidence." sent out by the
Canadian Bible Society. The
choir sang an anthem.
You are invited to attend
church service at the usual
time next Sunday. "Worship
renews the soul as exercise
renews the body. Evil is the
Great Illusion; God is the
Great Illumination."
