held at Brinsley United
Church on Sunday. During
the service Rev. R. Roberts
baptized Rebecca Louise
'Hodgins, infant daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hodgins.

graduated Friday afternoon
from Fanshawe College
receiving her diploma as a

Staffs Auxiliary meeting

Mrs. Norman Harburn
presided for the June
meeting of the Marion
Ritchie Evening Auxiliary,
held at the church on Tues-
day evening June 16, with 11
members and 6 visitors pre-
sent. Mrs. Harburn opened
with a poem. Mrs. Carter
Kerslake gave the devotions,
taking her scripture reading
from Matthew, Chaper 24
verses 31 to 40.
Mrs. Sally Scott in-
troduced, Leanne and Trisha
Ward, Monkton, who
delighted everyone with
several musical numbers,
accompanied on the piano by
their mother, Mrs. Brian
Ward.
Trisha who is faiur, sang,
It Is No Secret What God
Can Do" and Leanne who Is
six, sang "Jesus Wants Me
Fo•r A Sunbeam", and
together they sang several
action songs, including
"He's Got The Whole World
In His Hands" and "If Your
Happy and You Know It".

reported on the Perth
Presbytry Spring
Conference at Creiff Hills,
which she had attended. She
stated that it is a retreat
area which was bequested to
the Presbyterian Church by
the founder of McLeans
magazine. Mrs. John Miller
chose for her topic anarticle
from the Record on Han-
dicaps, Disabilities and
Things.
Mrs. Larry Gardiner
presented a portion of the
Study book on the strucc4�pre
of the church in North Tl dia
compared with r the
Presbyterian church in
Canada, closing with a taped
,-interview of Miss Eleanor
Knott, when she was home
on furlough.
Miss Knott is returning to
Canada this month for a year
study furlough, including
deputation. The meeting was
closed with a hymn and the
Lord's Prayer in unison. A
social hour followed.
