Sometimes my Mom and Dad get up at 5:00 and they never wake me up -..I like to sneak downstairs sometimes. On,e Christmas. morning I went downstairs ands' wanted a cookie and Santa Claus saw me. I would like to do that again. It was fun. ,V listeners that the' true spirit of Christmas must grow in our own hearts and minds. This coming Sunday the choir under the leadership of -Douglas Gill will present the Cantata "Following Yonder Star" at the morning service. In the evening there will be a combined Christmas Eve service at 8 o'clock. , • Seniors entertained The Christmas spirit was in evidence at the Com- anunity Centre Monday when United Church Women en- tertained Senior Citizens to a delicious Christmas dinner followed by an afternoon of crokinole and cards. Prizes were awarded for the lucky plate; and to the lady and gentleman whose birthday. was'ciosest to Christmas. _Euchre party There were nine tables in play at the euchre party in the Community Centre Monday night with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dickins and Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Mac- donald in charge.
