Seniors see Simcoe lights,
ready for Christinas party
Thursday afternoon a
busload of the members of
the Sunshine and Busy Bud-
dies' groups. with a few
friends, embarked at 3 p.m.
with Peter McNaughton of
the Jlderton-McNaughton
Tours for a trip to see the
Christmas lights at Simcoe.
Enroute they visited the
Coyle Nut Factory at
Tillsonburg. which was • a
real experience and well
worth the trip in itself. Ours
was the eighth bus. that
afternoon -and it looked like
a downtown London store
two days before Christmas!
However. everyone finally
got what they desired and
we were on our way.agaln to
Delhi where a delicious. but
really. too generous. dinner
was enjoyed
When we arrived in Sim-
coe everyone was entranced
with the fairyland of colours
both in the park and along'
the river. where the reflec-
tions were an added enjoy-
ment.. Mr. McNaughton
drove us through..one way
and then back through the
other so that people on both
sides of the bus could get a
good view.
An added bonus was that
while the group had been
eating their dinner Peter
had taken the bus "for a
bath". so that all the win-
dows were sparkling clean.
