Mayor Derry Boyle will chair the new committee and will be joined by in- coming Councillors Marilyn Williamson and Jay Campbell. The batter pair cited the need for more industrial growth in their election campaigns. Campbell questioned the advisability of having only council members on the new committee, suggesting it should include other citizens interested in attracting in- dustry. .Boyle said it would be possible to add members later if council wishes. Another new job was also created due to the establish- ment of the Huron County police committee which will deal with the new com- munications system. Mayor Boyle was named Exeter's representative. Each of the five county towns will have one appointed represen- tative along with the police chief. Councillor Lossy Fuller ended up with the task of chaffing two standing cotll- mittees, property and parks and social and community services. In addition she will serge on the public works and sanitation committees. ,Members of the various committees are as follows, with the first named being chairman: Executive and finance - Boyle, Sipnmons, MacGregor and Wight. Police - MacGregor, Patterson and Campbell. Public Works - Wright, MacGregor,- Fuller, Cameron and Patterson.
