"Messiah" on December 15 and 16, commencing at 8:00 p.nl,, in the Second of what is hoped will become an on-gpping series of Town hall Concerts. •"It has been eight years since the Huronia Singers have presented music from the Messiah", said director Mrs. Marianne McCaffrey, "and the Town Hall represents such an acoustically sound per- formance location, I just couldn't resist the oppor- t0nity to use it again. This is not a complete presentation, but rather, those choruses well knowpiand enjoyed -and the solos will be presented by people froth out com- munity". The Singers are accom- panied in this presentation by Julie Easterbrook and Mary Moffat, both of whom are well known in the area for their musical abilities.. The soloists are Marguerite McLeod, Jack Gaiser, Harry Hern and Gordon Johnson, all of whom are familiar to area residents. Mrs. McCaffrey expressed a real delight in the acoustics of the town hall.
