Spokesman for the Athletic Association, Bill Taylor said they were very pleased with the sway the. tournament turned out with a goad chance that the tournament will be held next year. Taking the "B" title was a team from Exeter made up of Pfaff Electric and the Les Pines from the Exeter Rec league. In the "B" final, Exeter defeated Huron. Park 5-1 to take the 3200 prize for that division. Leading the way tor Exeter was Jim Guenther with two goals while singles went to Larry Haugh, Ken Bergmen, and Scott Burton. Matt Muller picked up .the lone Huron Park goal.. Exeter found itself in the "B'' division following an opening round, loss to the Grand Bend Colonials. Sconng the only Exeter goal of the 4-1 loss was Burton. , Grand Bend goals in .the game were scored by Pete Gil with two, Paul MaGuire and Larry Laye.
