Mixed bowling at Lucan

The first mixed couples
bowling event for the season
was held Sunday night at the
Bowling Lanes. The first
place winners were Glenn
Snider and Janet Ankers
with a total of 1224. Bob
Smith and Edie Burt were
second with a combined total
of 1197 and third place went
to Harold Smith and Maxine
Parnall with 1192.
Winners for individual
high scores were for the
ladies Maxine, Parnall with
215,{Heather Smith 207 and
Eve Smith 214. For the men,
the top scorers were Vic
Capitano 284, Doug Lee 268
and Brian Ankers 239.
Hidden score winners were
Janet Ankers, Edie Burt,
Huth Butler, Wayne Smith,
Brad Taylor and Jim Burt.

Midway through the
second period, Hensall got
one back with Lloyd Allan
scoring from Dan Crerar and
Jim Ferguson.
Four minutes later. the
Buckeyes got that one back
with Smale finding the
range. Schilbe assisted.
In the third period, the
Sherwoods outscored the
Buckeyes 3-2 with Bill
Chipchase scoring the first of
the Hensall goals. Brian
Campbell and Greg Camp
pelt assisted.
The Buckeyes came back
with two goals to clinch the
victory as Ron Rader scored
from Overholt and John
Graham.
Tim West -notched his first
goaFas a Buckeye with 1;:49

The Sherwoods came back
to almost tte - the game as
they scored two goals in a
span of a minute and thirty
seconds,
Rick Ingram and Allan
scored the goals with Red
Campbell, Crerar and
Ingram picking up the
assists. -
A total of fifteen penalties
were called in the game.
