The only Grand.Bend win came Friday night in Zurich by a score of 4-2 over Thed- ford. They were blanked 4-0 by the Zurich Buckeyes Sun- day and lost 8-5 in Goderich, Monday. De next start for the Colonials will be Tuesday, November. 20 in Zurich when Centralia College will supp- ly the opposition. A three goal outburst late in the first period powered the Colonials to their 4-2 win Winkers in dart lead The Winkers with 29 points to their credit have taken a one point lead over the Itchy Niters and Doublers in first place in the Exeter Legion mixed dart league. The Sassenachs hold down fourth place with 27 points, the Flying High have 26, the Sabres 25. and the DR's and Out of Space are even at 24 points'. Next come the Outlaws and Nicky Tams at 22 points, the Family Affair have 20. the CB'ers and Shiphunters 19, the Scotties 18. Canscotts 15 and Chances 14, In individual statistics, Wa'ir Romaniuk has won the most games for men with 16 and Barb Hearn leads the ladies with 10. Three competitors have high single game scores of 140. They are Anna Romaniuk, J1m Foster and Henry Dyck. This week's scores were: Flying High 5, Chances 0: DR's. 4. Scotties 1-; Sassenachs 3. CB'ers 2: Out of Space 3, Family Affair 2: Sabres 3, Outlaw 2: Winkers 3. Doublers 2: Itchy Niters 3, Canscotts 2: Nicky Tams 3. Shiphunters 2. Friday's schedule is as follows: 8 p m.. Scotties vs Itchy Niters. over Thedford. After Grant Campbell scored for Thedford the Colonials hit the scoreboard. Mike Desjar'dine started things off with a goal and assists went to Tom Richardson and Larry Laye. Larry Laye then took over with two successful shots. - Pete Gil assisted on both scores by Laye and Dan Stanlake picked up one assist. - Each team scored single goals in the second period. Bill Fraser scored for Thed- ford and Tom Richardson was)the Grand Bend marksman on a pass frosn Paul Maguire. Kim McKinnon' scored twice and Steve Bedour and Ron Rader added singles as Zurich blanked the Colonials, Sunday. John Graham picked up three assists. Getting one each for the Buckeyes, were Ken Smale, Gerald Weido, Pat Bedard and Dave Cyr. In Monday's 8-5 loss to Goderich Larry Laye and Paul 'Maguire each registered two goals to lead -the Colonials scoring.attack. Getting the odd goal was Pete Gil. Gil scored in the first period on a play started by Larry Laye and Tom Ander- son and Maguire hit -on an unassisted effort. The only Grand Bend se- cond period goal came from the stick of Paul Maguire on a play set up by Dan Stanlake. In the final 20 minutes of play. Larry Laye fired two goals. Tom Anderson assisted on both and Pete Gil helped on one. Cam MacDonald headed the Goderich scoring with a two goal effort. ' Adding singles were Barry Bloch, Greg Hansen, Phil Pa- quette. The foursome of King McDonald, Helen Webber, Barrie Tieman and Barb Wein were first draw winners while Al Beattie, Doris Hackney, Sharon O'Toole and Rhena McLean combined to take second draw honours.
