HomeMy WebLinkAboutTimes-Advocate, 1978-11-09, Page 7 (2)MARK EVENT Mr. and Mrs. Ted Chaffe were honored at a family dinner and a reception and dance that followed Fri- day night at the South Huron Rec Centre to murk their 50th wedding anniversary., The residents of Albert St., Exeter, were married in Toronto on December 8, 1928, and resided there until 1950 when they moved to this area.to•operate a service centre at the junction of Highway 4 and the Crediton Road. They moved•to Exeter in 1969 and Mr. Chaffe was employed at Gould & Jory before retiring two years ago. They have two sons, George and Robert. The couple received greetings and scrolh from the Prime Minister, Governor General and area politicians.
