The preliminary list of electors prepared as
required by the Municipal Elections Act
1977 will be publicly posted in the office of
the Municipol Clerk oh the 13th day of Oc-
tober, 1978.
Electors should examine the list 'to ensure
that their names and relevant information
are correctly shown.
,Complaints in the nature of requests for ad-
ditions or. corrections to or deletions from
-the list may be made by an elector com-
pleting and filing a form obtainable at the
Office of the Clerk.
The School Support list is also available for
inspection.
The last day for filing forms. requesting ad-
ditions, corrections or deletions for either
list is the 27th day of October, 1978.

The U.C.W. held their
Thanksgiving meeting
Thursday evening in the
Sunday School rooms.
Devotions were conducted
by Mrs. Cliff Russell, Mrs
Harold Fahner and Ella
Morlock.
.Mrs. Russell led in prayer,
read the Scripture, an article
on sharing and a poem on
Thanksgiving. Mrs. Fahner
and Ella 1VIorlock presented
a play "Take Time."
Thanksgiving hymns were
sung'ls'ith Mrs. Gordon Fink-
beiner at the piano.
Roll call was answered by
narning something for which
one was thankful. A used
clothing drive and a bakeless
bake sale are being con-
ducted during the month of
October. A bake sale poem,
composed by Mrs. Bruce
Pierce is being distributed to
members of the
congregation. A sum of
money was voted to. the
current fund of the church.

desborough, Monday. Mrs.

Mrs. Leita Hill. Mrs. Green
and Mr. & Mrs. Lorne Fink -
twiner joined the four-day
Senior Citizens' colour tour
arranged by the Dashwood
Seniors.
-They passed through
Beaver Valley, Walkerton,
Collingwood and
Bracebridge on their way to
Gravenhurst, where they
boarded a boat for a cruise
on one of the Muskoka lakes.
They proceeded to Hunt-
sville, Pembroke and
Ottawa. At Pembroke Mr. &
Mrs. Finkbeiner had a joyful
reunion with their grandson.

In Ottawa they had a fine
tour of the city, viewing the
parliament buildings and the
homes of government of-
ficials.
The next overnight stop
was Gananoque whence they
enjoyed another boat trip
through the Thousand
Islands. •

visitors to the St. Boniface
celebrations in Crediton,
England, Saturday. June 3,
1978. St. Boniface, patron
saint of Crediton. his bir-
thplace in 680, is remem-
bered by the Society of St.
Boniface of Crediton, formed
1956 to spread- the saint's
fame throughout- the world.
1980 is to be a year of special
--eelebretion, ---marking--01e
1300th anniversary of St.
Boniface.
In the booklet is quoted an
ancient Devon saying:
"When Exeter (6 miles
away) was a fuzzy Own,
Kirton (Crediton) was a
market town." -

minutes, it was decided to
call the club, "The Cookie
Monsters." The, Energy.
Cookies and the Peanut
Butter Bread• were tasted
and then lesson two in the
books ssas done.'
Hensall 4-11 club 3 met for
their third meeting at the
home of Belly Beer on
Monday, October 2. The club
name was picked: the
"Granola Bar Maids."
Meeting three in the books
was completed and the
leaders made peanut butter
and carrot spread and pliek
and thin white sauces. With
the thick sauce. potato
cheese chowder was made. A
discussion on the covers for
the books followed.
The second Hireling of the
lfensall two 4-11 club was
held at the Hensall United
Church on Tuesday. October
3. The meeting opened with
the pledge and a discussion
on the meeting took place. In
the kitchen we made Energy
Squares 'and Peanut Butter
Bread. rneasureiueftis were.
all in metric measures. After
tile- baking was finished it
was -stored for future
meetings.
