were hosts for the Biddulph-
Lucan Public School staff
dinner party Friday evening,
held at their home north of
Clandeboye. Group 4 of
Clandeboye Women's
Institute prepared the
smorgasbord dinner,
Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Scott
entertained their family
Saturday evening.. Attending

Scott. Dean and Brad, Mr.
and Mrs Jack Neaman,
Ricky and Sandra of Ailsa
Craig, Mr. and Mrs. Harry
Bond, Jamie and Jeff of
Lucan, Betty. Ralph and
David Pritchard of London,
Ted Vanek and Bob Smith.
Mrs. Thomas Campbell
and Mrs. Gertie Nethercott,
St. Thomas visited with their
long time friend. Mrs. Ethel
Donaldson on Monday.
Miss' Mary D. Hornall,
Grand Haven, Michigan and
her friend, Marilyn Gannon,
Rochester, Michigan visited
with her Hodgins cousins at
Shadys,ide Farm, Saturday.

Cunningham, Woodstock
spent the week end with their
aunt and uncle, Lucille and

Bridal Shower
Tuesday evening about 60
ladies and girls met at the
church for a bridal shower
for Nancy Richardson. Mrs.
William Rohde welcomed
everyone' and asked each
one to introduce an tell

themselves.
A mock wedding took
place with the following peo-
-ple taking part: Minister,
Mrs. Lorne Ballantyne;
bride, Janet Bray; groom,
Mrs. Barry Miller;
brides aid, Brenda Ballan-
tyne; estman, Mrs. Barry
Jeff ; brides father, Mrs.

and had masks on. A
