The fire committee sent a request to council Monday night asking _for a new building. The committee said the present conditions are ridiculous with the fire department forced to leave equipment. such as one Fire truck. outside Deputy reeve Bob Simp- son said council should_ go' ahead and check into the cost of constructing a new building • • But Reeve Bob Sharen objected saying .council should first get to 'agree- ment from Bosanquet and Stephen for the Townships to pay for part of the'building. Simpson replied that un- . der the current agreement Grand -Bend owned the fire station. -Why should Grand Bend pay the cost and get none the benefits. If they're nj�t going to pay their fair sh•a then I don't think we should be using our taxpayer's dollars." Reeve Sharen said "That is another matter.
