The bears are Darryl Laramie, - Julie Lamport and Steven Pym and Goldilocks is Koren Cudmore. Clean-up in progress for Greenway area By MANUEL CURTS GREENWAY Painters are busy at the United Church this week: members of the congregation are doing some "clean up" jobs — all in readiness for the centennial celebration next Sunday. Best Wishes are extended to Janis Eagleson and Roger Dougall, whose wedding took place in the United Church Friday evening. Janis is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Graham Eagleson. Mr. & Mrs. Ted Scafe, London visited recently with their grandfather. Elton Curts, upon their return from Africa. Ted will be leaving shortly for an assignment .1200 miles north of Winnipeg. He is a pilot for a crew engaged in contour photography. Sunday visitors with Mr. & Mrs. Hugh Adair and family were Mr. & Mrs. Jim Patterson and Sarah. Grand Bend. HAMILTON HODGINS WHAIEN On Monday evening Mrs. Ernest Ferguson attended a bridal shower for Marlene Butler at the home of Mrs. Edward Butler, Lucan. Mr. & Mrs. Peter Johnson and family, Whitby, were weekend visitors with Mr. & Mrs. John Scott. Mrs. Ernest Ferguson attended a bridal shower for Carole Ash- worth on Tuesday evening in Exeter. Saturday evening visitors with Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Ferguson were Mr. & Mrs. Bob Molnar and family, Dorchester. On Wednesday Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Ferguson visited with Mr. & Mrs. David Hord, Strathroy. Mr. & Mrs. Hamilton Hodgins attended the 50th anniversary in Wesley United Church on Sunday evening. A former minister Rev. Miss Susan Seymour showed her pictures on her trip to the Holy Land. Storm hits Saintsbury By MRS, HEBER DAVIS SAINTSBURY Mr. & Mrs. Harry Carroll and Mr. & Mrs. Wayne Carroll were guests at the Sullivan -Wade wedding at the Peoples Church, Wyoming, Saturday at four o'clock. Mrs. Wayne Carroll is a cousin of the bridal couple. They also attended the reception later. There was no service on June 1 at St. Patripks' Church owing to anniversary at St. Pauls, Kirkton. Mr. & Mrs. Robert Steele and Sherry and Miss Marlean Woodhouse, London were Wednesday dinner guests with Mr. & Mrs. Heber Davis. The wind and electric storm did much damage on Friday night. Many uprooted trees as well as most of the roof of Earl Greenlee's barn and shed was damaged. There were reports of a little over one inch of rain in this community. Many neighbours and friends helped clean up Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Myrtle Isaac and Mar- jorie. London were guests with Cote Wennerstrom this past week. Mr. & Mrs. Bob Tindall were guests at the reception and dance for Mr. & Mrs. Roger Dougall, Parkhill Arena, Friday night. Mrs. Ron Carroll and Brenda went on a bus trip to Niagara Falls on Saturday. Mr. & Mrs. Heber Davis, Misses Nancy and Marylou and Robert Tindall attended evening worship at Lucan United Church. The choir presented Cantata No. 38 by Johann S. Bach "Out of the deep call I to Thee".
