HEBER DAVIS The April ACW meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Harry Carroll. Mr. Savory took the chair for the election of a president and vice-president. Mrs. H. Davis is the president for the remainder of the year 'and Mrs. R. Carroll vice-president. The president took the chair for the devotional period of prayer and scripture reading by Mr. Savary. Ile read from the 24th chapter of St. Luke and he spoke for a few minutes explaining the chapter. Business followed, money was voted to a crippled friend. Plans were made for an April 19 banquet. Mrs. Ken Eaton won the mystery prize, Mrs. Hugh Davis showed slides of a Florida trip. After the closing prayers the hosess served refreshments. Mrs. Hugh Davis. Mrs. Earl Greenlee, Mrs. Bob Tindall sponsored a bridal shower for their niece Mrs. Stephen Flon- ders nee Joan Barker, Friday evening in the Parish Hall of St. Patrick's church.
