The April 21 meeting of Exeter council will be held at ,the library at Exeter Public School. Mayor Bruce Shaw made that announcement this week, but gave 00 details of the move from the council chambers. Al that meeting, he said the new pay scales for the town's senior <idntinistratars would be tabled by the finance committee. He also indicated a discussion would be held on remuneration Inc council members. "1 won't say any more at the moment," he quickly added• advising mem- bers to give the matter some Consideration. - The Mayor also asked all committee chairmen to have their budgets presented as soon as possible so work could com- mence on the 1975 budget. AREA HUNTERS WIN During and after the 1974 moose and deer season the .Ministry of Natural Resources collected deer and moose hides from successful hunters. These hides are tanned and turned over to the native people of the province, who in turn make jackets, gloves, etc. which are sold by thein. In the past. some type of'regard was, given by the Ministry to .the persons turning in deer or moose hides. In 1974 rattler than do This a province wide draw was held in which persons turning in moose or deer hides were given a ticket on a draw for a hand made deerskin jacket, a pair of deer- skin gloves, a pair of mukluks, and a pair of slippers. By a strange coincidence, three of the four articles were won by people living in the -Wingham District.
