tables were in play.
The ladies high went to Mary
Scott, lone hands Rose Atkinson
and low to Mrs. Otto Darling.
The top man was Mr. C.W.
Millson, lone hands - Murray
Carter and low - Wilfred Cun-
ningham.
Next euchre at St. James will
be Wednesday February 12.

First euchre party
Tuesday evening there were
eleven tables in play at the
season's first euchre party held
in the Community Centre and
sponsored by the Women's
Institute, with the North Group in
charge.
Winners were: ladies' high,
Mrs. Joe . Carter: ladies' low.
Mrs. Violet Anderson; lone
hands. Mrs. Loretta Ball: men's
high, Harvey Hodgins: men's
low. Bill Anderson: lone hands.

Zion Church meeting
Friday evening at 8:15 the
annual congregational meeting of
Zion United Church will be held in
the Sunday School auditorium. A
potluck lunch will follow the
program Sunday.
Sunday, • Rev. Ed Baker of
Lambeth will conduct the mor-
ning service.
Members of the choir of Zion
United Church enjoyed a social
evening Wednesday following
practice. Lunch was prepared by
Mrs. Peter Martin and Mrs.
Lloyd Hey.
The 4-H organization meeting
for "What Shall I Wear" will be
held in the Crediton Community
Centre Monday. February 3 at 7
p.m. Girls 12 by March 1 are
welcome.
