Congratulate draw winners,
residents attend funeral

The UCW meeting was held
Wednesday evening at the home
of Mrs. Jack Trevithick. Hymn
"Standing at the Portal" and "All
beautiful the March of Days"
were sung followed by the
devotional taken from Matthew
"The Good Employer" by Mrs.
Harvey Steeper.
Mrs. Dyck read "The land of
the beginning again." The story
"It happens Every Year" by
Wilbur Howard, the new
moderator given by Mrs. William
Fenton followed by a reading
"Life is made up of new begin-
nings" by Mrs. Trevithick.
Mrs. George Lee took over
for the business. Roll call was
answered by 11 members. The
1974 treasurer's report was given
by Mrs. Jack Hodgson. Lunch
was served by Group 2 ladies.

Ruth visited recently with Mr. &
Mrs. Garnet Trevithick, St.
Thomas.
Mr. & Mrs. Levi White visited
Sunday evening with Mr. & Mrs.
Jim White and family of Dash-
wood.
Mr. & Mrs. William Fenton
attended a surprise supper held
Saturday evening at the home of
Mr. & Mrs. Pete Coburn,
Stratford, in honour of Howard
and Loreen Fenton on their 35th
wedding anniversary.
Mr. & Mrs. Jim Morley and
Kathleen attended the funeral for
Russell Scott held from the Gilpin
Funeral Home, Thedford,
Wednesday afternoon.
Congratulations! to Mrs. Jack
Trevithick who won a card table
in the 5c to 81.00 Store, Parkhill
draw on December 24! Bonnie
Watson also won a four lane race
set in the children's draw at the
McLeod Horne Hardware, Ailsa
Craig on Christmas eve.
Mr. & Mrs. William Wasnidge
arrived home Saturday from a
two week vacation in Florida.
Mr. Si Mrs. George Prest at-
tended the funeral Thursday
afternoon of Mrs. Harvey Dundas
who had previously lived in this
area and passed away in
Leamington Nursing Home. The
funeral was held from Dutton
Funeral Home. Interment was in
Fingal Cemetery.
Mr. & Mrs. Earl Lewis and Mr.
& Mrs. Paul Hodgson were
Sunday dinner guests with Mr. &
Mrs. Harvey Morley.

Mr. & Mrs. .Harvey Hodgins,

Mrs. Roy Hodgins were con-
veners for the euchre party
