fiesta. The grade' 11's have been
working in wallpaper paste, news-
papers and tissue paper for the past
four weeks and they have come up
with many wonderful creations.
These pinata creations were used
as decorations for the fiesta, and
four of them, a bird, a turtle, a cat
and an M & ,M were filled with
candy and many of the students (be-
tween hites of cake and homemade
goodiesi took turns taking their
•swings at the pinatas. •
E% et) Mr. Porter took a few
swings. Everyone had a great time!
All the Spanish students wish to
extend a big thank you to EMA and
PGA for donating candy to fill our
pinatas. -

ing the High School because every-
one wants a chance to win a candy
filled pinata.- -
Thc money raised from the pinata
raffle will he sent to El Salvador.
Five years ago, the Spanish classes
started sponsoring a foster child,
"Mirna who is 13 years old and
lives in El Salvador. her family's
income is 96 dollars per month,
hardly enough to live one.
Mrs. Heathcrington, the Spanish
teacher thought that this would be a
good way to raise some extra mon-
ey to send to Mirna during the
Christmas .season. Last year, the
course raised -over 100 dollars. This
year we hope to raise more than
that to send to Mirna for Christ-
mas.

If I could buy or make my mom
and dad the most beautiful gift in
the world it would be a hug and a
kiss. It doesn't cost any money, but
it does cost love.

fit in it, 1"m too fat."
• "No kidding. What! Did you ex-
pect me to guide the sleigh?
"Well/yeah. I know you don't
like cookies but you could bring
them home to me."
"No way. This is the first, last
and only time you can use my exer-
cise equipment."
„Okay, Okay?!"
So Santa started to lose weight. He
lost more and more weight and by
the time it came Christmas Eve,
Santa was skinny enough to fit into
his sleigh.
