Dear Santa Claus;
Good evening, my name is Brian
Mulrony! -1 am a little older than
'the kids who usually send you let-
ters. 1 hav-e many requests of you
but I will only mention a fcw.
The most important thing I would
Tike for Christmas is John. Turner's
and Ed Broadbent's resignation from
Parliament =Lately my closest asso-
ciates have been getting on my
nerves, 1 ask You to straighten them
up. Another wish of mine is that
we will have free trade with the
United States as soon as possible.
This is all I have to ask for now.
Pleasedo the best you can. •
Yours sincerely
Brian Mulrony.

Santa was sick in bed. And the
reindeer were sick too. Rudolph lost
his bright red nose. Santa couldn't
deliver presents to the kids. It was a
sad Christmas. "Hey, do you think
Santa .is coming''" "Poor Santa.
He's not coming. "I 'don't care be-
cause we're going to took for him."
They began looking. They found

brought Santa home TA T i/e him
hot chocolate.

'Poor Santa. All his elves were
sick. They all had chickenpox. So
did his reindeer, even Rudolph. Do
you know the song of Rudolph the
red -nosed Reindeer? I know I do.
Santa didn't cat a thing for two
weeks. That night Santa could not
sleep. Than a fairy flew through his
window and said "I will give you a
wish." Santa said, "I want my rein-
deer and elves to be well." And the
fairy did what he said. And all the
children got their presents.
Jesus
By Brett Gait
. St. Patrick's,- Lucan
They shall remember that night
long ages ago when the tiny
Lord Jesus was born.
That night that bright star
was shining and the shepherds -
where tending their flocks.
when they heard the chorus of
angels'sing out loud when the
new King was born. Far across
the land, three wisemen stood
and they saw that star shining
bright that night. So soon the '
little Lord was surrounded by
guests. So if you see that star
shining bright just think of
that night. .
A Perfect` Christmas
By Douglas MacGregor
St. Patrick's Lucan
The sun is down,
The snow has fell.
The water has frozen
In the old well.
The stockings are hanging
For the old jolly. man,
Directing his reindeer
As only he can.
t
It is Christman Eve
And above all the rest,
It is the one
That kids like the best.
11 is a time for fun,
It is a time for joy,
It is a time for wonderment
For each girl and boy.
The fir tree is beautiful
Its smell fills the air.
And each decoration
Is handled with care.
The presents fill up
The space under the tree,
I try to pick out
Whichonc is for me.
This day only comes
Once a year
It is that day
Weare now very near.
