Computer

One day after school, 1 went to
my friend's house. Her name is Ju-
lie. She had a new computer. She
said. it was very special. i said
"Wit -y?" She took me to her room
e�nttd made sure no one was around,
IKecause her parents and sister didn't
know about it yet. Wesat down,
an&the computer came on by itself.
1 heard this voice •say, "Hi "Julie.
Who's your friend?"
I said, ".Who said. that?"
She pointed to the computer.. 11
had a nose, eyes and a mouth. 11
was incredible. I didn't know what
to say. I just blurted odt, "Oh
man!"

Julie said, "What de you think?"
1 said, "This is great. No one else
knows?"
"Nape.: Tomorrow I'm going to
tell Nikki, Christie, Andrea and
Jenny: Tomorrow they're coming
over after school to sec.it."
The computer said to Julie, "You
still haven't named me yet.'`
Julie looked at me and . said,
"What should 1 name him?" • -
"1 don't know. maybe Jas,
George; Mike. Todd, Ralph.'
. ''That's it," said Julie.
"What's what?" I said.
"Ralph. I like it,"1 said the com-
puter. •
The next day the girls came over.
They couldn't believe their eyes.
Problem'. Jenny knocked over the
computer. Julie had a fit. We
checked it over but Ralph was •
gone'. We held a.uneral. Everyone
liked Ralph a lot. Everyone got
over it after a while but we still
have memories.

I am a tree 111 the forest. One day, -
some. .people came and chopped me
down. Roy did hurt. They took me
to the Oakes family. The family
-decorated me on December 9, 1988.
1 had lights -and Tots of ornaments.
They put presents under me. D was
so happy 1 Kagan jumping around
the house. Everyboiy screamed.
The mom fainted. Amber screamed.
Cody ran outside and dad well he
fell asleep. Soon, it was Christmas
eve. Once everybody was asleep-

Claus, what did you get me for
Christmas? Santa Claus turned

Eve, Santa Claus got very sick. Ile

do. Poor Santa Claus.

kxiking forward to Christmas Evc.
For that Santa's reindeer wcrc all
ready and his sled was filled -with all
kinds of -nice toys for title boys and
girls. And he was too sick to go
out. The wind was blowing so.hard.
Poor Santa.
The little boys and girls werc.fast
asleep waiting for -Santa -Clans, but
Santa couldn't come. -
The next morning the children
woke up very early and woke their
moms and dads and ran down stairs
and •looked in their stockings but .
there was nothing. They were sad.
