On Tuesday they travelled to Thompson arena and came home. with a4-4 tie against the London Odd Rascals.• Ernie Ahrens, Bob. South HJron Midget Girls Basketball team played in a tournament at Saunders Secondary School in London last weekend. - The locals were matched against John Paul ii (thc cvcntual.tourna- ment champions) in their first game and were beaten badly 61-16 by the stronger London school. Kerry Manders scored 10 of South Huron's points. in Saturday's game, the midget put together the finest effort of the season so far, but still lost 44-29 to Stratford Northwestern. in this game, Carri-Sue Kyle put forth an outstanding scoring 14 points and controlling defensive re- bounds.
