Popular play comes
to Kirkton librar
KIRKTON - Back by popular de-
mand, this adaptation of Margery
Williams' The Velveteen Rabbit is
definitely a child's delight. This fall
your library presents the Touring .
Players Theatre in this beautiful
sensitive story of the true meaning
of love.
"What is REAL?" asked the Rab-
bit one day. "REAL isn't how you
arc made," said the Skin Horse. "It's
a thing that happens to you. When
a child loves you for a long, long
time, then you become REAL:"
Sponsored by the Huron County '
Public Library, with the assistance
of the Outreach Ontario program of .
the Ministry of Culture and Com-
munications and the Ontario Arts
Council, Touring,. Players Theatre
will perform at the Kirkton branch
on October 13, at 7:30 p.m. Ad-
mission S1.0() per person.
Touring Players Theatre spins its
theatrical magi " once more, as it
follows this beloved classic of a toy
rabbit and his desperate quest to be-
come a real living rabbit. This thea-
tre company was established in
1983 and has since cultivated an an-
nual audience of 80,000. All plays .
are adaptations from popular chil-
dren's literature, highlighting the
talents of various actors, directors,
