'Flying High' takes off
By Roberta Walker
GRAND BEND - There's been a
lot ofapplause, whistles, song and
laughter in the Grand Cove Club-
house lately, in appreciation of the
1988 Grand Cove Players' Revue
"Flying High". Tickets were sold
out well in advance for the three
performances.
Nearly everyone in the cove
played a part in the production;
sewing new curtains for the stage,
•
painting the Set, constructing props
and organizing publicity, making
costumes and supporting the cast in
every way possible.
The revue opened Thursday, Sep-
tember 15 with a dress rehearsal,
and was performed on Friday and
Saturday in the Grand Cove Club-
house, then the set taken down and
reassembled for the last performance
at the Grand Bend Legion on Mon-
day, September 19.
