Two mishaps
EXETER = Only two motor vehi-
cle accidents were investigated this
week by officers of the Exeter town
police department.
On Wcdnesday, August 24, vehi-
cles driven by Ronald Mosurinjohn,
Huron Park and Mary Laye, Dash-
wood were involved in a collision
on Main street, near Simcoe street.
Two days later, vehicles operated
by Gregory Ratz, Dashwood and
John Van Dongcn of Kcrwood were
in collision on Main street atVic-
toria street.
On acid rain
TORONTO - Over:half-a-million
dollars for.natural resources research
will be provided for 33 research pro-
jects to be conducted at a numbcr of
Ontario universities and the Royal
Ontario Museum, Natural Resourc-
es Minister Vincent Kcrrio an-
nounced.
As a result of the funding, scien-
tists at the ROM and universities in
Guelph, Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Ot-
tawa,
Kingston, Toronto, Waterloo
and Windsor will be able to conduct
or proceed with studies in such are-
as as the effects of•acid rain.
"By funding renewable resource
projects; my ministry recognizes
the valuable contribution research

taining these matters rest with the potential purchasers.
This sale is governed by the Municrpal Tax Sales Act, 1984 and the Mu-
nicipal Tax Sales Rules. The successful purchaser will be required to
pay the amount bid plus accumulated taxes and relevant land transfer
tax.
