WOW is a federal - 4 -sponsored. youth .work .program designed to teach young high school students about the world of work. •A combination of. work experi- encc and workshop seminars was found to be highly effcetive. The students.were placed in, a work set- ting -that best -suited their career in- terests. - .Workshops included a variety of field trips to local businesses, semi- nars given by..local professionals and Various recreational activities. Was W.O.W. successful? Each of the 10 W.O.W. participants have expressed very positive feelings about the program. Many found WOW STUDENTS GRADUATE - Students of this summers Work Oriented Workshop program sponsored by Canada Student Employment and South Huron District High School graduated Thursday night.
