Burton leads ladies EXETER - Helen Burton headed the A flight of the Exeter ladies -Golf Club last Tuesday when she shot a 49 to claim low gross.. Dor- othy Marks and Shirley Davidson followed closely with 50 each. Betty Coates took low. gross in • B flight with a 59. Helen Was- ttidg,e was runner-up with a 60. Jean Crerar captured low gross in C flight with a 64. Peggy Ferguson and Ede Boyle both scored 66 to keep close. Dorothy Marks parred numhcr one and number six while Betty. Smith, Theresa McCann and Dorothy Kip-- Lucan squirts defeat Arva ARVA - Lucan 11 travelled to Arva and fought hard for a 2-1 win this week in squirt soccer. Adam Ryan opened the scoring for Lucan with a well placed shot from outside the goal arca. Lucan's second goal was scored by Jancllc Damen, with her first goal of the season. Damen made a. gocxl shot, got her own rebound and put the ball in the net. Low .putts in B flight went to Jean Smith with 18. • In C flight Edith Boyle notched a low gross'of 6.4. She was followed by Theresa McCann with 65. Low putts went to Noreen McCann.
