visit to this arca 20.years ago.4
Mlotorcycte gangs were causing.
trouble at that. time, and•he and

from Pinery Park.
Nairn is always delighted • to
conte back, drawn by ."great audi-
ences, first-rate shows, and a great
beach" in that order. He is fol-
lowing with concern the current
court case over who owns a large
chunk of the fatuous summer play-
ground along the shore.
The 35 -year-old actor was first
attracted to his chosen profession
while taking part in high school
drama productions in Toronto,
where he has lived since childhood.
He continued his studies- at York
University, and has worked -for
theatres across Canada during the
-12 years since graduation.
. "I've, not been out of work for
the last three years", Nairn stated
proudly, adding. '.the moment I
hatsc to wait on tables -is the mo-
ment I quit".
That won't- be for awhile.
Nairn's next engagement is in
"Thin -Ice" at Gravcnhurst later this
summer. -
The two young women had never
been to Grand Bend before being
hired for the opening production of•
the 1988 season. They like every-
thing about. this locale except the
chilly nights. They confessed that
about 20 blankets are stacked back-
stage, and the coffee and trot choco-
