United Church, with Rev. Moore officiating. The bride
is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dove Langton of Lon-
don. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Willis
Stewardson of Huron Pork. The maid of honour wcks Lin- e
do Wilson of London. The best man was Cam Steward -
son of Crediton. Flower girl was Amanda Page. The ring
bearer was Todd Page. The couple is now residing in

Joyce Diane Cunnington and Fronk Joseph Mads
were united in marriage May 28, 1983 at Thames Rood
United Church with Rev. Robert Matheson officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cun-
nington, RR 3 Exeter and. the groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Harry Maas, Exeter. The maid of honour was
Rosemary Miller and bridesmaids were Henriette
Demarco and Janet Cunnington. Flowergirl was Alana
March and best man was Henry Maas and guests were
ushered by David Cunnington and Gerald Cunnington.
Ringbearer was Jeremy Maas. After a honeymoon to
Niagara Falls the couple are residing in Exeter.

To open the June meeting of
the W.M.S. of Cromarty
Presbyterian Church at the
home of Agnes Lamond, Ed-
na Stoneman read a poem.
This Wondrous World. Five
members answered the roll
call with a scripture verse on
Peace, and Agnes Lamond's
topic followed the same
theme.
We are accountable to God.
to each other. and to the
future generations for the
care of His universe and the
God given life it contains, and
we are to strive to live in
peace with each other.

Mrs. Ivan Norris presided
for the June meeting of the
Marian I{itchie Evening Aux-
iliary and opened with a
reading on the theme, Shar-
ing. Hazel Harburn read
.s ripturc and the topic on the
various versions of the Bible
was taken by Ilelen ('arsons.
During the business, the
Perth Presbyterial June Con-
ference, which Cromarty is
hosting, was discussed, as
was the bazaar and attic sale
to be held on October 15.
Mary Elliott was in charge
of the study book and pointed
out the problems the people of
the South Pacific Islands had
because of nuclear testing
carried out in their area by
countries such as United
States, France, China and
Japan.
Sally Scott gave an in-
teresting reading on the ' • Pat-
ches in Grandmother's
Quilt."
