The Crediton Summerfest committee has been making significant progress on their plans to hold a summerfest this year. Dates for the three day event are August 19,20,21. HUGH MORENZ Ferman and Leota Snyder, Mrs. Clara Ratz and Annie Morenz were on the one -day bus trip Saturday to Ryerson theatre in Toronto, to attend the "Hustler Show Pro- gramme". The trip was spon- sored by the Beaconaires club of Church of God. Mrs. Ratz's nephew,Cal Fahrner, formerly of Crediton, is a member of the show's chorus men, as well as being executive director -operations. When Cal heard a bus load was coming from Grand Bend, he personally fame out to the bus after the show, to greet and visit briefly with several folks -he knew. It was a great show, well worth the long trip. There will be a baseball practise for pee wee's and squirts on Thursday evening 7:00 p.m. at Grand Bend Public School. Boys and girls may still register for summer games. Squirts ages, 10 and 11 years for boys and girls phone coach Dan Gill at 238-2617.
