HomeMy WebLinkAboutTimes-Advocate, 1983-05-11, Page 31Hello again ''It's time again to celebrate Klompen Feest. This is our third annual Feest in honor of the Dutch people who chose our community as their new home. A family affair, Klompen Feest will be held at the Clinton Community Park this year. Using the gran- dstand, arena and park, the facilities will help to bring guests and entertainers closer together. Admission to the park is ;1 with the special Klompen Feest button or ticket that may be purchased in most Clinton stores or at the gate. This year Klompen Feest will feature an extra special addition, the crowning of the Feest Queen. One lucky young lady will be selected at the kick-off dance on Friday, May 13. The dance will be held at the Clinton arena and tickets, $6 each, are still available. It has been my distinct pleasure to serve as Klompen Feest chairman for the past three years. In that time I have come to realize from people of many dif- ferent nationalities, that Canada is a wonderful country, a great place to call home. R.B. Campbell, Klompen Feest Chairman.
