Trout arrive at Morrison
Four hundred rainbow trout
have been stocked at the Mor-
rison Dam Conservation Area
by the Ausable-Bayfield Con-
servation Authority in co-
operation with the Ministry of
Natural Resources.
The trout were stocked
prior to the opening of the
trout season and since then
the Conservation Area has
been popular with local
anglers.
Muddy water caused by re-
cent heavy rains has resulted
in periods of slow action for
anglers, but enough trout
have been caught to keep the
fishermen interested. A se-
cond stocking of 200 trout is
scheduled for this week.
The rainbow trout are

in the reservoir will have

suitable for rainbow trout.
Any trout not caught by

fishing enjoyment and are not
designed to establish a resi-

Worms, crayfish and spin-

successful baits being used at

least one fisherman swears
