Good Friday service was
held at St. Patrick's Church
with Rev. Peter Derrick in
charge.
Easter service was held
Saturday evening with candle
light displaying the Light of
the World, with Robbie Gee,
Mary Davis and Rev. Derrick
as readers. He explained the
Resurrection to the children
with pictures of the cater-
pillar and the butterfly.
Service next Sunday will be
at 11 a.m.

and Mrs. Wayne Carroll were
Mrs. Ford Dyer, Sarnia and
other family relatives of Mrs.
Carroll's from Sarnia and Mr.
and Mrs. Harry Carroll.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob

London and Mrs. H.F. Davis
were guests with Mr. and
Mrs. Hugh Davis at noon and
Mrs. Davis and Gote Wen-
nerstrom, Lucan were even-
ing dinner guests with Mr.

Mrs. Vera Greenlee, Exeter
was weekend guest with her
son Mr. and Mrs. Earl
Greenlee. The two ladies
visited Mrs. Alexia Atkinson
at her home in Lucan,

Davis held a birthday dinner
Saturday evening for their
daughter, Mr. and Mrs.
Wayne Love and girls, Varna.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Barker
entertained their family to
dinner, Sunday evening.
Mr: and Mrs. Bob Tindall
attended a musical at Alum-
ni Hall, University of Western
Ontario Faculty of Music,
Wednesday evening. Their
daughter Marylou played the
clarinet with the symphonic
band.

Huron.
Dr. and Mrs. A.C. Whittier,
Mississauga; Susan Whittier,
Toronto, and Mrs. Rose Laub,
Exeter. spent Easter with Er-
ma Wein.

banks closing in Dashwood
and Crediton it paid to speak
out. Dashwood bank will be
open Tuesdays and
Thursdays starting April 19.
Special services were held
at both the Calvary United
Church and Zion Lutheran
Church. Starting with Good
Friday. both held services.
Sunrise services were held at
both churches followed by an
Easter breakfast. The U.C.W.
was in charge at the United
Church while the youth were
in charge at the Lutheran
Church.

speaker, Dorothy Wallis, who
will tell of the work of "Com-
munity House," the home for
battered women.
An invitation to attend has
been sent to Brinsley, Lucan
and St. James Church ladies
but an open invitation is ex-
tended to all womenin the
Clandeboye community to at-
tend this special meeting.
The final euchre party for
the season was held at St.
James Church Tuesday even-
ing. Prizes went to: high
score, Charlie Rollings and
Jean Miller; lone hands,
Marilyn Dixon and George
Cunningham; low scores,
011ie Hodgins and Joe Carter.
There were 11 tables in play.
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Banks,
Cindy and Krista, of Bright's
Grove, John and Shirley
Simpson, Kirkton, Ron,
Rosemary and David Grant,
Burlington were weekend
visitors with Mrs. Isobel
Simpson. Barbara and
Clarence Carter held the
family dinner for the Simp-
sons and Carters, Sunday.

had all their family for Easter
Sunday dinner with 27 atten-
ding including their new great
grandson.
