Wet and windy as the
Easter weekend was, perhaps
we can look forward to spring
arriving in earnest soon.
Although we are having
more and more daylight
hours, we are still able to
show films on Monday night.
Mrs. Bella Snell has return-
ed from St. Joseph's lfospital,
London but Mrs. Helen
Schultz is still a patient in
South Huron Hospital.
We welcome Mrs. Alice
Webb, a former Grand Bend
resident.
On Thursday evening, we
were pleased to have the
Zurich Mennonite choir pre-
sent their Easter Cantata,
"The Gospel Song of Easter."
Both residents and visitors
were very much impressed
with the musical program.
Bingo was played on Friday
evening followed by
refreshment.
The Sunday evening chapel
service was conducted by
Rev. Kenneth thnight of
Carmel Presbytealin Church,
Hensa 11.
, their First Holy Communion
throughout the month of
March and Easter Time. The
grade 7 and 8 students had a
seder meal in the gym on Fri-
day for Holy Week. (Seder is
the Jewish Passover.)
If anyone mistakenly took a
pair of ladies blue wool gloves
from the bowling alley a week
ago Monday would they kind-
ly return them to the bowling
alley: Thank you.
