The Hen- sall Atoms blanked Zurich 3-0. The Novice followed but lost to Clinton 2-1. The Bantams were blanked 2-0 by Mitchell. The Stars of the da) were the Tykes who provided fans with 30 minutes of High Class entertaininent. However they were swamped by Clinton 14-1. The PeeWees concluded the -day with -a 10-4 victory over Goderich. Many thanks to everyone who helped to make it a success.: The llensall Pee Wees ad- vanced tei the semi-finals of the. Southern . WOAA by defeating Huron. Park.2 games to one. In game one played last Wednesday, Hen- sall gained a 5-4 victory., Scott Hell led the team with four goals while Rob Taylor add - .ed the other. At Huron Park on Friday the boys dropped a 7=3 decision. All three goals were scored by Scott Bell. The deciding genre which occurred Saturday afternoon in Hensall proved victorious for the boys. Scott bell hit the net .four tunes and Jim Dickens added one more to gain the 5-4 victory. The boys begin a series with, Elma-Logan on Wednesday night at 7:45 p.m. in Hensall followed by a Friday night game in Monkt6n. If necessary the third game will be played Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Hensall • These boys and all the other members of minor hockey need your continued support and cheers. The Ontario March of Dimes 1983 fund-raising cam- paign is officially over. Chairperson Joyce Pepper is delighted to report thata tete! of .$502.50 was .collected . in Hensall. - " The March of Dimes cam- paign slogan was "We Can't Help Without Your Help". We certainly can continue to help the thousands of physically disabledadults across the pro- vince; tnanks to the support received from fiensall. Mrs. Sharon Wurm was in charge of the service_ The flowers in the sanctuary were in memory of Mr. Sam Oesch and Mrs. Cameron jgell Richardson whose funerals were last week. - Mrs. Joyce Pepper greeted worshippers at the door. The ushers were Ron Riley and Jeff Corbett. The music was by Mrs. Belva Fuss at the organ and Mr. Eric Luther at the piano.
