Pring -like weather
A good turnout and a good
time was had by all at the sno-
pitch game on Saturday. Con=
gratulations to the winning
teams from Shipka who beat
the Cobras for "A" champion-
ship. And the Zurich Black
Ilawks beat Jackues General
7-3 for "B" championship
finals. The beautifulssunn)

the joy of a sleigh ride and ice
skating. The day ended with
a dance with great music sup-
plied by local musicians.
March for Life
On Sunday several people
from St. Boniface and St.
Peter's Catholic Churches
were among over 400 from
area parishes who took pa
in the March for Life in fro�it
of Victoria Hospital, Londdn
to protest Abortion.

Six seminarians from St.
Peter's Seminary in London
hosted a "Youth Day" at St.
Boniface School on Sunday
from 1:30 to 7:30 p.m. for
those high school age and up.

family, following the rias-
beans hockey tournament in
Goderich. Unfortunately,
Brother Bob Merner was
unable to attend.

Development committee formation
announced at Zurich council
Reeve Don Van Patter in-
formed council at the regular
February session that the In-
dustrial and Retail Develop-
ment committee has been
formed, and will hold its first
meeting on February 16.
The new committee con-

Gelinas, Chamber of Com-

Select team from South Lon-
don this past weekend.
The local team lost both
games but played good
hockey. The score in Zurich
6-1, in London :3-0.
