Haitian visit
January Ms. Lorna Char-
ron accompanied Rev. Roger
Mason, and David Ross to
Haiti, helping Rev. Ray and
Becky Brewster settle i.i
there. While there she met
Miss Verginia Brady, who
directs Royal Palm Or-
phanage in Port au Prince.
After Christmas to January
13, Ms. Charron was inHaiti
helping Miss Brady in the or-
phanage. She also spent some
time with Rev. and Mrs.
Brewster.
While visifrng the
Brewsters, they went to the
mountains to see a school in
one of the villages under the -
direction of People to People,
and the Pentecostal Church.
This is a child sponsoring pro-
gram, for $15 a month, pro-
viding the school children
with one good meal a day at
school. Rev. Brewster
oversees the program. There
is also a school in the poorest
part of Port au Prince, called
City Simone. The school is in
the middle of miles of tin roof-
ed shacks. This school is also
used as a church.
At• the Royal Palm
OrphanageMiss Brady is car-
ing for 28 children from 1 year
to about 12 years old. While in
Haiti in January 82, Ms. Char-
ron accompanied Miss Brady
to hospital with a 3week old
baby that weighed 3 pounds
and they were told the baby
was dying.
Anyone wishing to contact
Rev. Ray Brewster about the
work in Haiti can write him at
P.O. Box 4, Lucan, NOM 2J0.

Beth Smith and presented by
Carol and Heather Smith, was
accepted by Rev. Pocock.
It is displayed in the naive
of the church for the enjoy.
ment of all who come to wor-
ship. It's message is "The
World and All that is in it
Belong to the Lord".
