Marauders tis Saints, loss to Nonsali
The Centralia Marauders
atned one point in two South
Huron intermediate hockey
league games this week.
Monday, the 'Marauders
gained a 4-4 tie with the Cen-
tralia College Saints and Fri-
day they were on the short
end of an 8-6 score to the
league leading Hensall
Sherwoods.
In the 4-4 draw with the
C.C.A.T. Saints, the only goal
of the first period was notch-
ed by Doug Regier of the
Marauders -on a pass from
Matt Muller.
The Saints came back in the
middle period with goals by
Rod Robinson and Jamie
Dewar. The two assisted �n
each other's goal while Rob
Rock and Rob Deloyer also
provided passes.
Pete Gill converted a pass
from Colin Tripp for the se-
cond Marauders score.

Irish get single point
in threejunior 'D' starts
The Lucan Irish could
manage only one point in
three OHA Western Junior :D'
games this week.
Wednesday, the Irish were
held to a 6-6 tie by the Port
Stanley Lions and lost Friday
and Sunday contests to the
Mitchell Hawks by scores of
3-2 and 4-3.
In the draw with Port
Stanley, Jamie Shipley scored
the only Lucan goal of the
first period on passes from
Randy Turner and Art
Gregory.
The second period Irish
markers were fired by Geoff
Edwards on a three-way ef-
fort with John Medd and
Steve Thomson and Jeff Skin-
ner on passes from Art
Gregory and Paul Wraith.
Edwards from Medd and
Doug Latta and Latta from
Todd Charlton counted for the
Irish on power play attempts.
Dave Patton completed the .
Lucan scoring on a pass from
Edwards. •
Mack Moore scored two
goals for Port Stanley and
singles were added by Hugh
Watson, Ray Carroll, Rob
Fellows and Mark Tolme.
The only Lucan goals in the
3-2 Friday loss to Mitchell
were shot by Paul Wraith on

Sunday, the Irish scored
twice in the first period as
Paul Wraith connected a pass

a play started by Paul Wraith
and Steve Glenn.
