She told how God does not want us to feel like toads, because if He did He would have made us toads. But He made us people, the highest form of creation and He wants every single one of us to feel important. Christine also read a story of a teenage boy whose life was football, but because of an ac- cident he could never play again. A discussion was held on how something like this could affect each of us and how we have to remember to thank God for our life, and if He changes it; we have to ac- cept our new life and continue in it, because when one door .closes, God opens a new_one for us. ' In her talk Christine also pointed out that nobody is a useless hunk of trash --you're somebody --"Cause God don't make no junk"! Church news At Granton United Church the Rev.
