Resort women's groups
.meet for regular session
Stewardship was the topic
given by Beulah Holt at the
U.C.W. meeting Thursday
afternoon in the Sunday
School rooms. She took us on
an imaginary journey, walk-
ing, to hear a speaker that has
caught the interest of the
public. A young lad is among
a large crowd. The speaker is.
not a great orator, but talks in
a language easily understood
by all and is applicable to
every day experiences in life.
The crowd becomes restless
and hungry. How can they be
fed? The young lad offers his
lunch, which brought bless-
ings and plenty for all.
The miracle of sharing - if
we share there is'more than
enough to feed all. A donation
blessed by God can touch the
hearts orman-y. It's not the
size of the donation but will-
ingness to share that is bless-
ed. The lad did nut eat his
lunch but was willing to share
all he had with others. This is
true stewardship.
President, Elizabeth Norris
chaired the business. A sam-
ple of carpeting was chosen to
cover the back stairs at the
church. It was announced the
