I hope you had a happy Christmas and a Happy New Year. Some of the articles in this weeks paper from the Stephen Central junior addi- tion are on Christmas Carols, Skating and Floor Hockey. - Gia King Christmas Caroling - December 21 we went carol- ing in the gym. We learned new songs in French; Jingle Bells and Silent Night. Some more songs we sang were Deck the Halls, We Three Kings, and Frosty the Snowman. Christina Glanville. String Art - Room 6 is doing string art and so far they have done two of them. Some peo- ple are thinking of doing another one..• Skating - In the winter season, our school is planning on having a skating period every Thursday. It will be in two groups. The first group will be from 1- 2 p.m. and the second goes from 2 - 3 p.m. Buses will take us from the school to the Stephen township arena in Huron Park. Our classes will be tak- ing turns going each week. I am sure everyone is going to have fun. • -Mona Brand. Floor Hockey - Mr. O'Rourke is picking a team for our school floor hockey team. For the first time, they had a turkey dinner for the entire student body. Everyone enjoyed the turkey, dressing, potatoes, relishes, peas and carrots, apples, cheese and milk.
