Rev. McDonald spoke of the
year that is•ahead of us .and
quoted Paul Tounier in saying
"Time belongs to God, and we
are stewards of time, we are
responsible to flim for every
minutes that he gives us." His
sermon was based on the
scripture from Psalm 90 "So
teach us to number our days
that we may apply our hearts
unto wisdom."
The music was under the
direction of the senior choir
with Joyce Pepper at the
piano. The ushers for the day

be employed by the heritage
Museum to help develop more

children.
About 1,300 elementary
school children participated
in a special program during
the Christmas week at the
Lambton Museum. They
were exposed to elements of
nineteenth century pioneer
Christmas. They dipped
candles and made wooden
decorations, strung popcorn
for the Christmas tree and
joined in carol -singing in the
chapel. The program, called
a "hands-on" program prov-
ed successful enough to allow
more such programs in both
museums in the qoming year.
Application forms for the
quilting program and infor-
mation about special events
may be obtained by phoning
the museum.
The three-day weekend was
created because it's impossi-
ble to cram all the bad
weather into two days.
