Rev. Lynn Loshbough
preached his farewell ser-
mon at Emmanuel Baptist
Church in Exeter, Sunday.
Rev. Loshbough who has
served the Exeter
congregation for the past
three years is taking over
duties as chaplain for three
nursing homes in the London
area.
He will be serving nursing
homes at Watford, Komoka
and Masonville in London.
Explaining the move, Rev.
Loshbough said, "I have
always had an interest and
longing to finish my ministry
in a senior citizens at-
mosphere. I have just
completed 35 years in the
active ministry."
Rev. and Mrs. Loshbough
are moving to their new
home in London this week.
Any area residents with
relatives in the three homes
served by Rev. Loshbough

farm tractor
A McGillivray township
farmer escaped injury
Monday afternoon when the
farm tractor he was driving
was struck by a Canadian
National Railways jigger.
Raphael Devlaeminck
jumped clear of his machine
before the accident which
occurred on Lot 3, Con-
cession 1 of McGillivray
about a mile south of Cen-
tralia.
Occupants of the CNR
vehicle Gary Williams, Scott
Williams, Ben Benneweis
and Patrick Heaman were
treated at South Huron
Hospital, in Exeter and
released.
The tractor was split in
half by the impact. Con-
stable Don Vance of the
Lucan OPP detachment is
investigating.
